The red coat and crested helmet belong to a heavy cavalryman. At Waterloo, the Inniskillings rode in a brigade whose three regiments represented England, Scotland and Ireland—a detail that gives this mounted figure a particularly good companion story.
There is no horse, but the cavalry identity still matters. Del Prado’s Hungarian major brings a distinct national uniform into a collection that can otherwise make the Eastern Front look exclusively German and Soviet.
RTA056 takes the collection outside the Alamo walls. Sam Houston sits on a chestnut horse with his sword raised, giving the RTA range a mounted leader for the wider campaign that followed the siege.
A pointing arm, a black horse and an elaborate uniform make RTA001 instantly legible as a command figure. Santa Anna brings the Mexican leadership into an Alamo collection, with a pose that works best when it has troops—and some open space—in front of it.
NA079 gives the charging dragoon subject the Empress Dragoons treatment. It is a useful release for collectors because it demonstrates how a familiar action can belong to a different unit identity within the NA catalog.
NA078 carries a standard above a mounted dragoon in the Empress Dragoons color scheme. The flag and its staff make the release a natural organizing point for the related Guard cavalry figures.
NA056 portrays General Dorsenne in the imposing dress of a senior Imperial Guard officer. The mounted figure adds a named personality to the Guard subjects while keeping the rider’s uniform and bearing at the center.
The raised arm is the first thing to notice on NA046. The French dragoon is preparing a downward sword action, with the rider’s upper body supplying a different rhythm from the forward-pointing charge of NA041.
NA045 turns a mounted dragoon sideways to fire a pistol. The short firearm changes the rider’s gesture while the horse still supplies the movement beneath him.
NA044 is a compact battlefield incident: a fallen horse with its dragoon caught beneath it, still holding a damaged sword. The model makes the vulnerability of cavalry visible in a way an upright rider cannot.
