King & Country · Napoleonic · NA079
NA079 gives the charging dragoon subject the Empress Dragoons treatment. It is a useful release for collectors because it demonstrates how a familiar action can belong to a different unit identity within the NA catalog.

Compare the code before the pose
The earlier NA041 also depicts a dragoon charging with a sword. Similarity of action is therefore not enough to identify a loose example. Put the photographs side by side and compare the decorative treatment of the helmet, uniform and horse furniture. The code records a particular release, not merely the generic phrase “French cavalry charging.”
Let the horse travel across the scene
A diagonal placement reveals the horse’s stride and the rider’s sword at the same time. Leave room ahead of the base so the action does not terminate against the next figure. The flagbearer can sit slightly behind, giving the group a point of reference without blocking the charging rider’s upper body.
Condition and completeness
Inspect the sword blade, plume, reins and the horse’s legs from both sides. Compare saddlecloth colors with the reference before assuming differences are repainting; first establish that the listing really is NA079. A collector looking for this particular variant benefits more from accurate photographs and an underside code than from a seller’s claim that the piece is simply rare.
