King & Country · Vietnam · VN068
Two Marines support a wounded comrade between them in VN068. The middle man’s arms rest across their shoulders, while his bloodied head dressing makes the reason for the close grouping unmistakable. The three move as one compact unit, with weapons and equipment still carried.

King & Country identifies a combat photograph from Hue in February 1968 as the inspiration. The image belongs to the evacuation of casualties from street fighting, where assistance could begin with fellow infantrymen. The model captures that intermediate stage: the casualty has been reached and helped upright, but is still being moved out.
Review
The linked shoulders are the defining feature. Each man has a role in the movement, so none feels like a spare figure added to fill out a set. It is particularly effective at conveying the practical work of carrying on after someone has been wounded.
