King & Country · Napoleonic · NA050

NA050 turns the kilted Black Watch silhouette into a low firing position. The weapon stretches horizontally beyond the figure while the dark bonnet and pack remain high behind the bent body.

A front edge for the Highland group

The kneeling pose is especially useful near the front of a shelf. It leaves taller standing figures visible behind it and establishes the direction of the fight. Stagger the positions so the barrels have clear channels; putting a standing soldier directly behind another figure’s head makes the arrangement difficult to read.

Compare action within the same range

NA049 waits with his weapon, NA050 fires and NA054 lunges with the bayonet. These are useful alternatives for showing how a soldier’s task changes his stance. They are also an effective way to identify loose figures when the box is missing: match the hands and weapon first, then confirm the uniform and code.

Keep the fragile parts in view

The muzzle and bayonet deserve a level side photograph. Check the point where the weapon meets the shoulder, the extended arm and the bonnet details. If a seller photographs only the kilt and face, ask for the full weapon. The low stance reduces height, but the model still needs substantial clear space in front of its base.
