The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS205
WS205 walks with his rifle slung and his head turned to the right. The relaxed arm position and open expression make him a useful contrast to infantry figures whose whole bodies point in the direction of their weapons.

The movement and attention separate
The legs suggest one direction of travel while the face looks aside. That small difference gives the figure a sense of awareness beyond the path immediately in front of him.
The rifle crosses down the body, leaving the free arm and face easy to see. Helmet, canteen and other equipment provide familiar infantry details around the quieter gesture.
The title is more precise than an invented story
The manufacturer’s description reads the man as relaxed. It does not identify what he sees, who might be speaking to him or what happens next.
Those open questions are useful in a display. The collector can arrange a nearby companion to receive his attention without claiming that the sculpt reconstructs a particular historical exchange.
A general noncombat setting suits the surrounding release group. The figure’s pose supplies enough personality without a named village or a dramatic campaign anecdote.
Use the right-hand view
Place another figure on the side toward which he looks and the relationship becomes immediately clearer. WS204’s smoker or WS206’s drinking soldier can provide a different activity nearby.
Keep some space between the men so the turned face remains visible. A close row can conceal the sideways attention and reduce the figure to another marcher.
WS205 adds variety through where a soldier looks rather than what he carries. The slung rifle establishes the military subject, but the turned head makes him feel aware of the people around him.
For identification, compare the full walking posture, loose arm and rifle position with the saved photograph. Together they distinguish this release more reliably than a generic description of a German soldier.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS205 product record lists a release date of June 2013 and a retirement date of April 2016. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
