The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS206

The soldier in WS206 leans his head back to drink, lifting the canteen above his face. The upward gesture creates a distinctive silhouette among the standing infantry, with the rifle remaining slung while one hand attends to a different need.

The drink becomes a whole-body action

The raised arm, tilted face and slight backward movement work together. The pose is easy to understand even before the small canteen is examined closely.

The weapon and equipment stay attached around the body, so the figure remains visibly on the move or at a brief halt rather than fully unpacked in a rest area.

The release gives a broad campaign suggestion

King & Country’s description evokes dusty roads in Russia. That supplies the manufacturer’s intended atmosphere, but the sculpt does not identify a named place, march or individual.

The act of drinking can therefore carry the scene without an invented claim about how long the man has been without water. The miniature records the visible action, not a complete account of his physical condition.

A useful height change among the ordinary moments

WS204’s cigarette draws a hand close to the mouth; WS206 extends the same general area of attention upward. Beside WS205’s sideways glance, the drinking pose adds another direction to a small group.

Seen together, those differences make the soldiers feel occupied with individual activities. They need not all face the same way or be positioned against a single large vehicle.

Leave clear space above the canteen and choose an angle that preserves the face beneath it. A view from too high can hide the expression and flatten the raised arm against the head.

WS206 earns its place through a familiar human need expressed with a particularly clear pose. The tilted body, raised container and slung rifle turn a short pause into a distinct catalog subject.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS206 product record lists a release date of June 2013 and a retirement date of November 2020. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
