The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS067
WS067 gives the King Tiger an early rounded-front turret, a long gun and three visible crew figures. The broad hull and curved turret face make a striking contrast with the more angular vehicles around it.

Why collectors call it the Porsche turret
The original announcement uses the familiar Porsche-turret description. The Tank Museum’s explanation adds an important correction: both Tiger II turret forms were designed and built by Krupp. The common nicknames reflect their association with competing tank designs, rather than two different turret manufacturers.
That little naming trap is part of the pleasure of a detailed catalog. The nickname remains useful for recognizing the shape, provided it is not turned into an inaccurate manufacturing claim.
The finish has its own identity
The saved photograph shows a multicolour camouflage scheme and weathering around the substantial running gear. The three crew figures break up the roof line and make the vehicle’s size easier to judge.
WS071 returned to the same King Tiger subject with another paint treatment. Comparing the actual images is more useful than assuming every early-turret King Tiger belongs to this first release.
Give the barrel room
The gun extends well beyond the front of the hull. A shelf arrangement that looks spacious around the tracks may still put the barrel close to an edge or another model.
A front-quarter view shows the curved turret, long hull and crew together. A side view emphasizes the length but can conceal the feature that distinguishes this turret style.
WS067 belongs as a particular stage in King & Country’s treatment of the Tiger II. The interest is in its form, finish and release history, rather than in promotional claims that any one tank was the war’s universally most powerful machine.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS067 product record lists a release date of March 2005 and a retirement date of December 2005. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
