The Operation ToyBox catalog · WH125

WH125 settles the rifleman close to the ground, with one leg folded across the front and the other knee raised. The rifle still gives the figure a strong direction, even though the body occupies very little height.

One rifleman, despite the plural title

The archived name says “Riflemen,” but its description identifies the first of two separately released soldiers. WH125 is the single figure shown here; WH126 is a different release.

That small catalog distinction matters when buying a loose figure or comparing a listing that combines photographs. The numbered title describes a pose in a sequence, rather than promising a pair in one box.

A different outline within the Classic Germans

The newer infantry sequence includes standing, kneeling and prone subjects. This seated position adds another height and a more compact arrangement of the limbs.

Look at the space between the raised knee, arms and rifle. It is part of what makes WH125 recognizable in a group of otherwise similarly equipped soldiers.

History at the scale of a posture

The WH historical overview gives the broader wartime setting. This anonymous figure illustrates an infantry position without identifying a particular unit or recorded engagement.

The interest is in how the sculpt makes the man fit the ground. A seated figure also encourages a lower viewing angle, which changes the appearance of a familiar infantry display.

Compare the two seated releases

Place the reference images for WH125 and WH126 alongside each other before identifying an unboxed example. Their leg positions provide a more useful distinction than a seller’s general description of a sitting German rifleman.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WH125 product record lists a release date of November 2025. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
