The Operation ToyBox catalog · WH126
WH126 returns to a seated firing position but changes the arrangement of the rifleman’s legs and body. It is a companion idea to WH125, with its own code and its own place in the newer Classic Germans sequence.
Why two similar subjects?
A row of identical figures can suggest a drill formation. Small differences in posture give an infantry group a more individual appearance, even when the equipment and immediate activity are similar.
WH126 provides that variation at ground level. Compare the angle of the knees and the way the body supports the aimed rifle with the reference photograph of WH125.
Read the title carefully
The archived title uses the plural “Riflemen,” while the description calls this the second soldier. The saved image shows one man. The first seated rifleman is a separately numbered release, rather than a missing partner from this set.
Keeping those details with the code helps prevent a catalog title from becoming an accidental claim about the original contents.
A small figure that needs an open view
Standing infantry can hide a seated man almost completely. A position near the front of a display, or a clear gap between taller figures, lets the posture remain visible.
The WH series history provides the wider context. Nothing in this individual release identifies a named soldier, regiment or battle.
Why keep this entry separate?
WH126 records a specific sculpt within a group of related poses. Its value to a catalog is that distinction: collectors can compare the actual figure rather than treating every seated rifleman as interchangeable.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WH126 product record lists a release date of November 2025. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
