King & Country WH055 Nurse Taking Notes: The Paperwork Behind Patient Care

The hands explain the role

The archived description identifies a German nurse making notes about individual patients. The reference photo shows her white apron and head covering, with the writing materials held in front of her.

The figure is not assigned a personal name or a particular hospital. The subject is the work itself.

A useful contrast with the surgeon

The WH collection includes a surgeon, wheelchair and other medical subjects. WH055 can join that broader group while remaining a separate release with its own role.

The series overview places those figures within the wider wartime history represented by the catalog.

Let the notebook remain visible

The figure works best from an angle where the hands and writing surface can be seen together. A tall bed or another standing figure directly in front would obscure the activity.

WH055 deserves a place in the reference catalog because it records a specific kind of medical support. Its distinctive writing pose should be preserved when identifying it among more general nurse figures or assembling a larger hospital scene.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WH055 product record lists a release date of September 2016 and a retirement date of June 2021. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability.
