The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD345(B)

DD345(B) pairs a deeply bent advancing rifleman with a more upright companion. Both carry rifles forward, but their different body angles make the pair feel less synchronized and more like individuals moving through the same difficult space.

Two figures belong to this code

The release description identifies a pair of riflemen. The sand bases mark the B variant, while DD345(G) offers the corresponding grass finish.

The manufacturer also includes DD345(B) in SGS-DD010, Sword Beach Set No. 1. In that bundle the pair joins a landing craft and three additional riflemen; those other components are not part of DD345(B) alone.

The bent man leads the eye

His low torso and extended rifle create a forward diagonal. The second man’s more upright posture adds height behind the movement, giving the two figures different visual jobs.

Try spacing them unevenly rather than touching their bases together. The gap can make the movement feel more natural and leave both weapons visible.

Connect the ramp to the ground beyond

The pair can extend the action outward from a landing craft, while a kneeling or firing figure sits farther ahead. This creates a sequence of postures without claiming a reconstruction of a particular wartime photograph.

DD345(B) adds forward movement to the British beach infantry. For identification, look for both distinct body angles and the pale bases. A single rifleman from the pair is an incomplete set even if a seller uses the full catalog code.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived DD345(B) product record lists a release date of September 2021. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
