Cavalry carried more than swords
The pistol is the point of this release. The National Army Museum’s discussion of cavalry equipment is useful background for mounted soldiers’ different weapons. The figure lets a collector compare the reach of a saber with the very different posture required to aim a short firearm while seated on a moving animal.
Three dragoons, three tasks
NA041 charges with a sword; NA045 fires a pistol; NA046 raises a sword for a close blow. They make a useful comparison of how hand position and upper-body movement alter the same broad cavalry subject. A small group does not need identical poses to look coherent, provided the riders’ actions belong to the same imagined encounter.
The smallest weapon deserves the closest photograph
A pistol can be difficult to judge in a distant listing. Ask for a close view of the barrel and hand, then inspect the reins, helmet plume and horse’s legs. Compare the exact code with later Empress Dragoon variants before buying. A green coat and helmet alone are not enough to identify which NA release is being offered.
