King & Country · Napoleonic · NA034
NA034 stands with the weapon held close to his side, presenting the uniform rather than a dramatic action. It is one of the most useful early French poses for an inspection scene or a direct comparison of infantry equipment.

Why the full unit name matters
The source description identifies the soldier as a grenadier of the 3rd Line Infantry. That keeps him separate from the Imperial Guard grenadiers introduced elsewhere in the NA range. Grenadier status and Guard membership are different things; the tall red plume should not be used on its own to collapse those distinctions.
Give the flagbearer an audience
NA033 is identified with the same regiment and makes an obvious companion. A small grouping can suggest a unit forming up, a review or a moment before moving off. A marching NA014 adds a transition into the scene. The key is to decide whether the group is stationary or moving, then make the positions support that choice.
An inspection figure still needs inspection
The long bayonet and plume remain exposed even though the pose is compact. Check their tips, the weapon’s contact with the hand and the paint on the white belts. A light background can wash out those belts, so a second photograph against a neutral surface may reveal details that a bright sales image conceals.
