King & Country · Napoleonic · NA065
The telescope brings NA065 into a quieter part of an artillery action. This officer is watching and judging while the gun crews work, a useful contrast to the movement and noise suggested by the surrounding figures.

Identify the instrument, not the URL
Some listings retain “with sword” in their web address, but the product description identifies a dismounted horse artillery officer with a telescope. The photograph supports that description: both hands hold the instrument to his eye. Record the visible pose when identifying a loose example. A stale page title can otherwise lead a collector to search for an accessory that this pose does not carry in its hands.
A compact study in blue and red
The dark blue braided clothing, tall fur headgear and red plume give the figure a formal appearance. His raised elbows create a recognisable outline without the theatrical gesture of a sword. The forward-facing instrument also establishes a clear direction for the entire vignette. A low base and restrained ground colour let the bright trim remain visible; a high wall would conceal much of the pose.
Two ways to build the artillery group
Use NA065 with the three-man NA064 crew for a scene about aiming and observation, or compare him with mounted officer NA066 to show the change between mobility and working at a position. Both arrangements explain a role instead of simply filling space. When buying, check the telescope, fingers and plume in close photographs. An altered instrument can easily be mistaken for a different release, making the pose and code more useful than a seller’s short title.
