The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS111
The central man in WS111 stretches an arm across the group, giving the title Over There an immediate visual meaning. Two companions stand on either side, each attending to the scene in a different way.

A three-man conversation
The saved photograph shows one figure with a hand raised toward his face, the central pointing man and a rifleman holding his weapon lower. Their camouflage clothing connects them, while their gestures keep them distinct.
The archive gives no detailed narrative beyond the title. The group therefore suggests direction and attention without identifying exactly what the men have seen.
The empty space is part of the composition
A pointing figure needs room in the direction of the gesture. Placing a tall object immediately against the hand can make the scene feel cramped or unintentionally comic.
Leave the suggested destination slightly outside the group. The viewer then follows the arm into the surrounding display, which is one reason this set can connect separate parts of a larger scene.
Different jobs within one infantry group
The man watching, the man indicating and the rifleman waiting do not all repeat the same action. That variety gives the trio a sense of exchange.
The WS historical catalog provides the campaign and organizational setting. The figures themselves are anonymous; the release does not document a named command group or a particular battlefield order.
A useful neighbour for a vehicle
A parked halftrack can give the men a place to gather, but no vehicle belongs to WS111. The three figures can also stand alone with only a road edge or building corner.
In a retrospective collection, this release offers an alternative to rows of firing infantry. Its value is the shared direction created by one arm, and the way the two companions make that gesture feel like part of a small group rather than an isolated pose.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS111 product record lists a release date of April 2008 and a retirement date of October 2011. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
