The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS110
One rifleman shoulders his weapon while the other kneels with his rifle raised at an angle. WS110 builds a two-man group from different postures and activities rather than repeating the same firing pose.

The photograph supplies the missing detail
The archived description is little more than the product title. The saved set image is therefore especially useful: it shows two figures, camouflage smocks and helmet covers, grey trousers and contrasting brown equipment.
The kneeling man appears occupied with his rifle rather than aiming along the standing man’s line. The image does not establish the exact instant of a loading sequence, so the catalog leaves that finer interpretation open.
Pattern above, plain colour below
The camouflage occupies the upper halves of both figures, while their trousers create quieter areas of colour. That balance keeps the pair readable at shelf distance despite the busy pattern.
The different heights also stop the helmets from merging into a single line. Seen from the front quarter, each man has his own clear silhouette.
The wider history belongs with the figures
The WS series retrospective explains the Waffen-SS setting and the historical context of the range. The short WS110 record does not identify a particular division, battlefield or pair of soldiers.
A collector can place the figures in a chosen scene, but that choice should not become an unsupported unit attribution in the catalog.
A pair that can enlarge a group
WS111 and WS112 provide related infantry combinations with different gestures. Adding the kneeling figure near a low wall and leaving the standing rifleman visible behind him creates depth without needing a large base.
Keep the two original men associated in the collection record, even if they eventually occupy separate parts of a display. WS110’s particular interest lies in the contrast between them: one outward-facing action and one lower, more self-contained activity.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS110 product record lists a release date of April 2008 and a retirement date of October 2011. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
