The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS384
A standing rifleman and a lower automatic-weapon figure create two separate firing lines in WS384. The difference in height keeps the pair visually open even though both men face the same general direction.

The title is shared by other releases
“Open Fire” is a broad action title, so the code matters. WS384 is this two-figure set; WS392 is a different three-person release with a similar name.
The saved photograph is the quickest way to establish the distinction before comparing individual clothing and equipment.
The uniform colors switch places
The standing man’s green-toned upper clothing contrasts with patterned trousers. The lower figure wears a patterned jacket over plain gray trousers.
The long rifle and more compact automatic weapon provide another contrast across the pair. A side-quarter angle makes their different profiles easier to see than a view directly along the barrels.
Part of a larger variation idea
The manufacturer describes WS382, WS383 and WS384 as alternative mixed-uniform combinations requested by collectors and dealers. That release history explains why the clothing distribution deserves attention alongside the poses.
The six figures belong to three separate two-person sets, not one six-man package. Keeping the grouping clear helps a collector check a loose example for the original contents.
These are anonymous Normandy HJSS subjects. The scene conveys coordinated firing without establishing a named unit action or specific battlefield location.
WS384’s catalog identity is the particular standing-and-kneeling pair shown here. Check both complete figures, their weapons and their different camouflage placement; a general description of two firing SS men is not enough to distinguish this release from its neighbors.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS384 product record lists a release date of May 2023. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
