Unlike WS363, whose hand goes to his helmet while he seeks cover, this rifleman keeps both hands on his rifle. That small difference changes the action and the outline of the upper body.

The muzzle points forward and slightly upward, while the elbows remain close enough to keep the figure compact.

Normandy is the intended setting

The manufacturer’s subgroup represents the 12th SS in the Normandy fighting. The individual is unnamed; his sculpted movement should not be turned into a claim about a documented charge or particular village action.

The Deutsches Historisches Museum places the Waffen-SS within Nazi Germany’s political and military structure, an essential context for the represented formation.

WS364 is one running rifleman on a scenic base. Other moving and firing men are separate releases that can build out the scene.

A clear reference photograph should include the full rifle and stride. The two-handed grip, green jacket and patterned trousers give this set a more precise identity than the general phrase “SS soldier running.”
