The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS335
The sword rises almost level with the helmet as the officer steps forward. WS335 is a marching figure whose long vertical blade supplies a very different outline from the rifles in the accompanying ranks.

A mid-war parade subject
The manufacturer’s July 2017 dispatch places this LAH parade group in 1942–43. It is distinct from King & Country’s earlier black-uniform prewar parade subjects.
The miniature’s greenish officer’s jacket and gray trousers are visible in the saved photograph. The combination is a useful identifying feature when broad sales titles simply call a figure an SS officer.
Movement without a combat pose
The forward step, straight torso and raised sword belong to a formal marching presentation. The figure is not lunging at an opponent or directing a firefight.
The long rectangular base supports the stride and differs from the textured earth bases found under many field figures. That base is part of the visual language of this parade subgroup.
Compare the two officers
WS338 is the inspecting officer with his sword lowered. Setting the photographs side by side makes the difference obvious: one pose leads movement, while the other accompanies an inspection.
WS335 can give a marching group a focal point, but the release itself contains one officer. Additional riflemen and the flagbearer are separately numbered subjects.
Historical presentation matters here. The uniform and parade belong to the Waffen-SS, an institution of Nazi Germany, rather than an anonymous ceremonial unit.
For a collecting record, show the raised sword, stride and complete rectangular base together. They establish this particular release more clearly than a close-up of insignia alone.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS335 product record lists a release date of July 2017. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
