The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS200

The officer in WS200 walks with his weapon slung behind him and a map case at his side. His hands remain free at the front, giving the figure a more conversational presence than an officer pointing a pistol or studying a map.

The equipment sits around the movement

The peaked cap draws attention to the face, while the binoculars and straps introduce smaller shapes across the tunic. The slung submachine gun is best appreciated from a side or rear angle.

The pose suggests a man moving between activities. The product description proposes early-war European settings, but it does not name a particular officer or location.

A walking figure can connect a group

Placed near resting infantry, the officer can appear to approach them. Beside a vehicle, the same movement can suggest arriving at or leaving a halt.

That flexibility comes from the sculpt’s open hands and unhurried stance. There is no single dramatic gesture that forces every neighboring figure into the same action.

The absence of a drawn weapon also lets the uniform and carried equipment remain visible. The map case and binoculars are useful reminders of the officer’s role without requiring a separate table or headquarters accessory.

The nearby catalog numbers need individual reading

WS201’s gunner and WS202’s ammunition carrier provide other men on the move. Their equipment and intended dates still deserve separate attention; a shared release group does not make every weapon suitable for every year of the war.

WS200 adds a mobile command subject to the collection. Its interest lies in the difference between simply standing and visibly going somewhere, with the case, binoculars and slung weapon giving that movement a military identity.

A full-length side-quarter photograph is particularly helpful for identifying the figure because it preserves both the walking posture and equipment hidden behind the torso.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS200 product record lists a release date of September 2012 and a retirement date of July 2017. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
