The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS177
The pale winter Tiger carries two crew figures above a darker, heavily worked lower hull. WS177 combines that cold-weather appearance with an important detail in its original announcement: King & Country described it as a new sculpt.

More than a repaint
The November 2010 release text expressly distinguishes this model from the earlier 2005 winter Tiger. It identifies both a different camouflage treatment and changes to the sculpt itself.
That makes a side-by-side comparison worthwhile. The shape of the fittings and crew positions deserves as much attention as the amount of white paint on the vehicle.
The winter surface gives the model contrast
The light upper surfaces stand against the darker wheels, tracks and openings. The two crew figures interrupt the vehicle’s broad silhouette and give the eye somewhere to settle above the armor.
A plain, pale display base can extend the winter mood without burying the running gear in scenic snow. Keeping those lower details visible preserves much of the contrast already built into the miniature.
The complete special-edition presentation
The manufacturer announced 999 examples, each with two crew figures, a dedicated box, a four-page color brochure and a numbered certificate. Those details describe the original package.
A surviving model may be offered with only some of its paperwork, so it helps to separate the vehicle’s condition from packaging completeness. Neither the edition number nor the brochure establishes present-day rarity or value by itself.
WS177 belongs in the catalog as its own winter Tiger interpretation. Its strongest collecting comparison is with the earlier release mentioned in the announcement, using the sculpt, paint and supplied crew together to understand what changed.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS177 product record lists a release date of November 2010. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
