The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS163
WS163 pairs a field-grey jacket with a black one and gives each officer a different camouflage treatment below the waist. Their turned heads connect the men, but the clothing ensures that each remains an individual within the two-figure group.

The conversation is already built in
The release announcement describes two Waffen-SS Panzer officers discussing the tactical situation. One man wears a side cap and keeps his hands low; the other has a peaked cap, binoculars and a case at his side.
The sculpt does not need a separate map table to explain why they stand together. Their faces and slightly different postures establish an exchange on their own.
Look below the jackets
The left-hand figure has large camouflage patches across his trousers. The other man’s trousers use a much smaller, busier pattern. The contrast becomes especially clear because both garments occupy similar areas of the composition.
Above them, the field-grey and black jackets provide a second comparison. This is a useful set for appreciating how colour and pattern can distinguish figures even when their general role and standing height are similar.
An armoured scene between movements
Instead of placing every officer in a hatch or pointing across a battlefield, WS163 brings discussion down to ground level. A nearby parked vehicle can explain the broader setting while leaving the pair’s interaction as the focus.
The two men are unnamed in the release record. Their conversation can suggest a pause during service without inventing a headquarters meeting, an order or a specific historical decision.
Keep the space between them
A slight inward angle makes the exchange clear. Too much separation weakens the relationship; placing them shoulder to shoulder facing straight ahead turns a conversation into a lineup.
The WS catalog includes several individual Panzer portraits and guards. WS163 adds a ready-made pair whose interest lies in the clothing contrasts and the connection between the figures. Those details give a vehicle display a more conversational moment without requiring a large scenic setting.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS163 product record lists a release date of September 2010 and a retirement date of October 2012. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
