The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS158

A lifted foot changes the entire reading of WS158. The shouldered rifle and steel helmet match the formal character of the neighbouring guards, but the separated legs turn the figure into a man moving through the scene.

The marching member of a small sequence

The product title identifies a Panzer guard marching. WS156 and WS157 offer related stationary poses, making the three releases useful comparisons for anyone sorting or collecting the 2010 black-uniformed figures.

WS158’s leg position is the decisive clue. A close crop of the head and shoulders can make him resemble the guard at attention, so a full-length photograph matters.

The rifle and the step point in different ways

The weapon rises beside the shoulder while the forward leg creates a lower diagonal. Those two lines give the figure a sense of controlled movement without a broad arm gesture.

Pale gaiters break up the dark trousers near the base. The brown rifle stock supplies another contrast above, drawing attention to details that might otherwise disappear into an almost entirely black silhouette.

Give a marching figure a destination

A doorway, a parked vehicle or a second guard can make the direction of travel intelligible. Leave open space ahead of the step so that he does not appear to be walking directly into an accessory.

The archive supplies no named parade or date for the scene being represented. Its historical subject is the off-vehicle duty of armoured personnel, interpreted through a formal marching pose.

Movement does not require a crowd

One marching guard beside one stationary figure is enough to establish a contrast. A long repeated row can be effective, but it also makes the individual sculpt harder to appreciate.

WS158 adds a moving outline to the WS crew and support collection. The value of the separate code lies in that specific step, shouldered weapon and helmeted profile, which give the guard sequence more range than a single standing pose could.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS158 product record lists a release date of June 2010 and a retirement date of May 2012. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
