The Operation ToyBox catalog · WH094
WH094 gives the ambulance Kübelwagen a warm desert palette. The red-cross markings and stretcher still define its medical role, while the sand and brown colours distinguish this version from the grey and European camouflage releases.
A different theatre in the same vehicle family
The archived description associates the model with the Afrika Korps and suggests North African settings. The saved photograph shows the desert treatment across the open car body.
The series code remains WH even though the intended setting overlaps the subject matter of King & Country’s Afrika Korps range. A product prefix is not a substitute for describing the actual release.
Compare the ambulance versions carefully
WH087 depicts an occupied camouflage ambulance, while WH088 is the empty field-grey version. WH094 adds another paint treatment to the family.
The reference image here shows the empty stretcher arrangement. A collector adding separate medical figures should keep their codes distinct from the vehicle’s original record.
Medical support in a desert collection
The vehicle can broaden a display otherwise dominated by armour and infantry. The stretcher makes the evacuation role visible without requiring a large closed ambulance.
The WH catalog overview links the model with the wider medical subjects. The release does not identify a named patient, journey or particular desert battle.
Why the finish deserves its own entry
Seasonal and theatre variants can become confused when listings use only the vehicle name. WH094’s code preserves the desert ambulance identity.
Compare the stretcher, supports and markings with the saved photograph as well as the overall colour. The specific medical arrangement is as important as the camouflage when recognizing this version.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WH094 product record lists a release date of December 2018. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
