King & Country · Vietnam · VN007
VN007 brings the M60 up across the Marine’s chest and shoulder. The broad stance, raised arms and long weapon create a strong horizontal shape, while the ammunition carried around the body adds another layer of detail. The sculpt depicts a Black Marine, giving the early VN group a more representative mix of servicemen than a row of identical faces.

The M60 beyond this single pose
The National Museum of the Marine Corps’ Vietnam weapons guide identifies the M60 as a belt-fed 7.62mm machine gun and notes that versions also served on vehicles, helicopters and boats. VN007 captures one infantryman’s moment with the weapon. It should not be read as a complete account of how the gun was supported, supplied or employed throughout the war.
Display the silhouette from a slight angle
Viewed directly along the weapon, much of the model’s defining shape disappears. A three-quarter view shows the M60, arms and ammunition more clearly. Keep tall grass and wall edges away from the front of the gun. The figure already has considerable visual energy; a plain base or restrained street surface can work better than scenery competing with the body and weapon.
Comparing a seller’s photographs
Ask for a close view of the muzzle and the exposed details below the barrel, plus a rear view of the equipment. Check for abrupt changes in alignment or finish around the hands that could indicate a repair. Do not assume that an ammunition accessory or extra figure seen beside the gunner was originally included. The catalog reference is for one standing Marine. Record the exact VN007 code and maker when searching: the same prefix and number can lead to unrelated figures from another company.
