King & Country · WWII U.S. Marines · USMC053
USMC053 gives the Sherman a distinctly Pacific appearance: olive, brown and sand camouflage, timber protection along the hull sides, and a commander just visible above the turret hatch. The main armament is a conventional 75mm gun. The Marine infantry surrounding the tank in one factory view are explicitly shown for scale and are not included.

In the set: One 75mm-gun Sherman with tank commander; display infantry sold separately.
What the timber is telling you
Marine tanks often fought as close partners to infantry against concealed positions, not simply as opponents for other tanks. Riflemen could protect a tank from nearby attackers, while the tank’s gun helped break a position that stopped the infantry. Field-applied protection reflects that close-range environment, although timber did not make a Sherman immune to mines or antitank fire.
The wooden panels and multicolor finish are the release’s most recognizable features. They should not be treated as proof of a particular battalion or a direct reconstruction of a named wartime tank. Nor is this a flamethrower Sherman: the product description identifies the 75mm armament.
Review
The added timber gives a familiar vehicle a materially different outline, and the restrained commander keeps attention on the tank itself. The camouflage is the strongest visual feature in the reference photographs. The main limitation is attribution: it is a Pacific Sherman subject without a securely identified individual vehicle history.
