The Operation ToyBox catalog · SGS-DD010
A landing craft gives a beach display its doorway: the ramp is where the enclosed boat suddenly opens into an exposed battlefield. SGS-DD010 combines that focal point with five British riflemen, turning several separately cataloged releases into a coordinated Sword Beach grouping.

What belongs in this bundle?
The manufacturer lists DD335, DD341(B) and DD345(B). DD335 supplies the Royal Navy LCVP numbered 1335 with three naval crew. DD341(B) contributes three riflemen in action, while DD345(B) adds two advancing riflemen. The total is one boat, three sailors and five infantry figures.
The B suffix matters: these are the sandy-base versions. The bundle should not be confused with the corresponding grass-base infantry or with SGS-DD011, which uses a different boat and selection of soldiers.
Two services meet at the ramp
The National Army Museum’s Sword Beach photograph places the British 3rd Division alongside armored and commando formations in the landing. A naval landing craft and army figures therefore offer a useful way to tell the story across service boundaries.
The sailors remain with the craft while the infantry move inland. Arranging the men at different distances from the lowered ramp makes that change of responsibility visible without requiring a crowded display.
Build the scene around movement
Keep a clear path from the boat to the advancing pair. The action poses can sit farther forward, allowing the viewer to read an unfolding landing rather than a straight row of soldiers.
SGS-DD010 earns its own catalog entry because the manufacturer assigned the combination a separate bundle code. It does not represent a newly sculpted version of every component. For collecting purposes, the numbered boat and the five infantry are the essential combination to establish before comparing individual offers.
Release record and collecting notes
King & Country’s official catalog SGS-DD010 release reference identifies this model without giving a release or retirement date on the linked page. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
