The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD412

The rifleman crouches close to the ground with his weapon angled across his body. DD412 gives the Gold Beach group a low pose that contrasts with its standing and advancing men.

The pause is visible in the knees

The bent legs and lowered torso reduce the figure’s height, while the rifle remains close enough to the body to keep the silhouette compact.

The manufacturer presents the soldier as preparing to move. The sculpt does not show him firing, so the catalog description should preserve that distinction.

A low figure makes the scene deeper

Placed near the front of a display, the crouching soldier allows taller figures to remain visible behind him. The group acquires more depth than a line of upright bodies along the shelf edge.

A small bank or rubble fragment can frame the pose, but should not hide the rifle or the hands that define it.

Compare the two kneeling releases

DD413 is the separate Kneeling Ready Rifleman. Similar titles can cause the pair to be confused, so compare the angle of the weapon, body and legs with the individual reference photographs.

The June 2026 release identifies DD412 as its own single figure. It is not an alternate view bundled with DD413.

Within the collection, this soldier supplies the moment between movement and renewed movement. He can support a beach or inland infantry arrangement whose broader historical setting fits the regiment, without needing an invented account of what he is watching beyond the base.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived DD412 product record lists a release date of June 2026. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
