The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD395
Four projecting steel prongs give this small tank a very different face. DD395 presents the M5A1 Stuart “Sloppy Joe” with a hedgerow-cutting attachment at the lower front.

The countryside shaped the vehicle
The Musée de la Résistance’s hedgerow-war record illustrates a Stuart crossing a hedge and explains how Normandy’s enclosed fields obstructed movement and exposed attacking forces to flanking fire.
The model’s prongs belong to that practical problem. They make the landscape part of the vehicle’s story rather than merely a green background behind it.
A light tank with a distinctive addition
King & Country identifies the vehicle as an M5A1 with a 37mm main gun and supplies a commander in the turret. The nickname and front attachment distinguish this release from a general Stuart entry.
The dealer text contains a machine-gun caliber typo; it should not be read as evidence that the tank carried 30mm machine guns.
Show the attachment doing visual work
A low bank or hedge section nearby can explain the prongs without burying them in scenery. A front-quarter view lets the reader see both the cutter and the turret.
The July 2026 announcement describes this as King & Country’s fourth Stuart interpretation. That makes it a useful retrospective comparison with earlier versions, using the finish, equipment and crew presentation together.
DD395 belongs in the collection because the additional hardware tells a clear story about adaptation. The small tank’s most interesting feature is not simply its armament, but the attempt to move through the difficult countryside around it.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD395 product record lists a release date of July 2026. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
