DD359(G) holds the rifle at shoulder height while kneeling on green scenic ground. The pose keeps the figure low without losing the clear direction of an aimed weapon.
The grass finish keeps the group consistent
The G suffix identifies the inland ground treatment. DD359(B) is the corresponding sand-base release, and the two should not be collapsed into one indistinct catalog entry.
A clear photograph of the base is particularly useful because the body and weapon can appear almost identical when the terrain is cropped away.
Notice the compact triangle
The raised knee, supporting foot and grounded knee give the lower body a stable-looking shape. Above them, the bent arms draw the rifle and face into a concentrated line.
The pack adds depth behind the shoulders, so a side-quarter view conveys more than a straight frontal photograph.

DD354(G) stands to fire, while DD358 lies prone with a scoped rifle. DD359(G) occupies the middle level between them.

DD359(G) belongs in the collection as the single grass-base kneeling-firing figure. Retaining the code, terrain finish and complete pose gives collectors a reliable way to distinguish it from nearby British infantry variants.

Sager’s archived DD359(G) product record lists a release date of November 2021. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
