The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD341(G)
DD341(G) combines two aiming riflemen with a third holding his weapon vertically. The three men share a uniform and equipment theme, but the mixture of standing and kneeling poses prevents them from reading as a repeated sculpt.
The ground changes the context
The grass bases make this the inland counterpart to DD341(B). That difference is modest in a box but conspicuous on a shelf: green bases blend with matching British infantry while pale sand would suggest a different surface.
The suffix identifies a finish variant of the group, not three newly named soldiers or a separately documented historical incident.
The waiting man is useful
It is tempting to make every figure fire in the same direction. The upright rifleman gives this group another option, appearing to wait while the other two men concentrate on the action.
His vertical weapon also breaks the horizontal lines of the aimed rifles. The resulting composition has more visual rhythm even without extra scenery.
Let the kneeling figure stay visible
Place the lower man slightly forward or to the side of the standing pair. A small change in spacing can reveal the face and weapon that disappear when all three bases touch.
DD341(G) works as a compact British infantry grouping or as three individuals distributed through a larger scene. Its catalog identity remains the complete grass-base trio: two firing poses at different heights and one man holding the rifle upright.
Keeping those details together helps distinguish a genuine complete set from an attractive but mixed selection of loose figures.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD341(G) product record lists a release date of August 2021. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
