The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD341(B)
DD341(B) is a three-figure set: one man holds his rifle upright, another fires standing and a third fires from a kneel. The changing heights make the group more interesting than three identical riflemen arranged in a row.
The same weapon, different moments
The vertical rifle creates a pause between the two aimed weapons. The standing and kneeling men then establish separate lines of attention, allowing the group to look active without every pose repeating the same gesture.
The figures belong to King & Country’s British D-Day infantry. Their equipment and coordinated uniform treatment connect them with the neighboring officer, sergeant and Bren subjects.
Why the B suffix matters
These are the pale sand-base figures. DD341(G) supplies the corresponding grass-base group, so a full collecting record should retain the suffix rather than reducing both to DD341.
The manufacturer also includes DD341(B) in SGS-DD010, the Sword Beach Set No. 1 bundle. That combination adds a landing craft and another advancing pair; those extras are not included with the three-figure release by itself.
Arrange the figures as individuals
Leave a small gap between the standing and kneeling riflemen so their barrels do not visually merge. The man holding his rifle vertically can sit slightly behind them, giving the composition depth.
This set earns its place through variety within a single infantry subject. When checking completeness, establish all three poses and the sand finish; a listing containing three similar British soldiers is not necessarily this exact group.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD341(B) product record lists a release date of August 2021. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
