The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD336
LCVP 1324 is the number to look for on DD336’s white-and-blue hull. In the reference view, the coxswain raises an arm above the stern area, giving this boat a human detail that distinguishes it from the companion 1335 release.

The photograph clarifies a contradictory sentence
The archived description both mentions a raised-arm coxswain and assigns a two-hands-on-wheel pose to DD336. The reference image of 1324 shows the raised arm, so this article follows the visible model rather than treating both statements as simultaneously correct.
The hull number remains the simplest first identification check.
The crew gives the open boat a purpose
The release belongs to the same Royal Navy LCVP pair as DD335, with a coxswain and two machine-gun crewmen. Their helmets and pale hoods stand out against the blue clothing.
The open compartment and bow ramp connect the sailors’ work with the people or loads the boat is meant to carry. Infantry figures placed inside are additional display pieces.
One picture contains more than one release
The saved reference includes a larger scene showing both numbered boats, troops and vehicles. DD336 supplies the 1324 craft and its crew; it does not include the second LCVP or every accessory in that scene.
That distinction matters when a group photograph is reused in a sales listing. A complete code should describe the actual release, not the whole illustrated diorama.
The paired number and altered coxswain pose make DD336 useful for collectors building a broader landing scene. The similar hull treatment ties the two Royal Navy boats together while the markings keep their identities separate.
For a clear condition record, photograph 1324 on its own with the crew and ramp visible. The larger scene is useful inspiration, but the individual craft is the collectible being cataloged here.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD336 product record lists a release date of September 2021 and a retirement date of February 2025. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
