The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD310

DD310 raises the rifle to his shoulder while remaining on his feet. The long line of the weapon crosses above the equipment belt, with the helmet and face turned firmly along the aim.

The standing body changes the composition

The upright torso gives the rifle more open space beneath it than in DD309’s kneeling version. The legs are separated enough to keep the body from reading as a parade-ground stance.

The darker jacket, brown trousers and pale leggings divide the figure into recognizable areas of color. The net-covered helmet ties the appearance to the neighboring American infantry releases.

Compare one activity at two heights

DD309 and DD310 make a useful pair because the weapon role remains similar while the physical position changes. Their different heights can create a more varied group without introducing another equipment type.

The comparison also helps identification. A shortened listing for a DD rifleman should be checked against the complete standing pose rather than matched only by the uniform and rifle.

The line of sight needs open space

Give the figure a clear direction beyond the muzzle. A nearby wall or another soldier directly across the weapon can make the composition difficult to understand.

Seen from a slight angle, the face, stock and hands remain distinct. The full lower body should also be visible in a condition photograph because the stance is part of the release’s identity.

The manufacturer’s brief record does not establish a personal name or specific engagement. The miniature’s historical subject is an anonymous American rifleman, represented through uniform, equipment and a conventional firing posture.

DD310 adds the higher firing line to this infantry sequence. Its role in the collection becomes clearest beside the lower kneeling figure and the more mobile DD307 and DD308 poses.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived DD310 product record lists a release date of December 2017 and a retirement date of June 2020. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
