The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD125
DD125 holds one arm outward to direct traffic, with the MP helmet marking making the role clear. The simple standing figure can give an otherwise static line of American vehicles a shared direction.
The road behind the landing
The release places the military policeman in Normandy during June 1944. His work belongs to the movement of troops and supplies after arrival, rather than the firing line itself.
The D-Day historical overview follows the campaign beyond the beaches. A road-control figure helps make that supporting activity visible within the collection.
The gesture is the main identifier
The saved photo shows the arm extended to one side, with the other held across the body. The open space around the gesture matters as much as the relatively narrow standing base.
A vehicle immediately beside the hand can make the figure’s purpose obvious, but crowding the same area can hide the pose.
Compare nationality as well as role
DD118 is a Canadian Provost Corps figure from a different release. DD125 is the American MP, with his own uniform treatment and stance.
The two belong in a shared support category while retaining separate national identities for searching.
Why a single support figure earns an entry
DD125 adds something an extra rifleman would not: a visual explanation for traffic moving through the scene. It is a useful subject on its own, rather than merely an accessory to whichever jeep or truck happens to stand beside it.
The source names no individual policeman or specific junction, leaving those display choices open.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD125 product record lists a release date of April 2014. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
