Del Prado · Spanish Civil War · 1937
This Del Prado volunteer stands with a carried load and a restrained pose, giving the Spanish Civil War section a subject distinct from the running infantry corporal. The 1937 title identifies foreign volunteer service rather than a generic Spanish soldier.

An international dimension to a civil war
The International Brigades brought foreign volunteers to fight for the Spanish Republic. Their presence makes the conflict more than a purely national story. Imperial War Museums’ contemporary photographic record provides a useful visual point of reference for volunteers in the period around 1936–1937.
A comparison with the corporal
The running Spanish Civil War infantry figure has a different pose and a less precise affiliation in the checked source. Displaying the two as separate examples can help explain how catalog evidence varies. Keep their individual captions rather than assuming they are members of the same formation because both belong to the same conflict.
What to preserve with the model
Record the headgear, carried equipment, stance and base inscription. Ask for a side view of the long weapon and any thin straps when buying. The full volunteer-and-1937 description is a better search term than an unverified issue number. A useful collection record states what is known and leaves room for later identification without turning a guess into a permanent label.
