A peaked cap and dark naval clothing give this officer a restrained appearance. Del Prado’s figure belongs to the Imperial German Navy of the First World War, an important distinction in a range containing several later German naval subjects.
The wide stance, dark cap and layered clothing make this French corporal more animated than a standard marching figure. His 1914–15 date places the subject during a rapid change in French infantry dress and equipment.
Scarlet tunic, bearskin and bright white straps make this Coldstream sergeant a traditional toy-soldier subject. The 1914 label belongs to the period, while the sculpt itself shows full dress rather than trench clothing.
The wrapped headgear and khaki uniform give this Ottoman infantryman an unmistakably different outline from European trench-war subjects. Del Prado’s 1914 figure helps extend a First World War collection beyond the Western Front.
A soft cap, dark field uniform and compact standing pose give this Italian Ardito a practical appearance. The figure introduces assault infantry to a First World War collection without relying on an elaborate action scene.
A covered spiked helmet and field-grey clothing place this Del Prado officer at the beginning of the First World War. His hand-on-hip stance makes a composed counterpart to the range’s more active infantry poses.
The campaign hat makes him immediately recognisable as an American Marine. The date asks us to stop before the famous battle: in 1917, the 6th Marines were a newly organised regiment preparing for the war that would define them.
This Del Prado corporal brings the Balkan front into the First World War catalog. The distinctively shaped cap, dark field clothing and carried rifle make a compact subject with a more specific identity than a generic early-war infantryman.
The steel helmet and heavily equipped khaki figure make this Del Prado sergeant a clear contrast with the smarter early-war officers. The model presents the NCO as a working infantryman carrying the burden of the front.
This Del Prado Scottish soldier carries the layered appearance of a man equipped for the Western Front: khaki clothing, webbing and a distinctive Highland headgear silhouette, rather than the red coat of a ceremonial image.
