The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD411
The rifleman moves forward with his weapon ready, his torso slightly lowered beneath the helmet. DD411 provides a mobile infantry pose for the Gold Beach group.

The regimental setting matters
The Green Howards Museum’s D-Day account records the 6th and 7th Battalions landing at Gold Beach. That places the figure within a particular part of the British assault rather than a generic Normandy scene.
The miniature is not identified as one named man from the landing. Its value is the representative pose and regimental presentation.
The rifle carries the direction
The release identifies the weapon as a No. 4 Mk I Lee-Enfield. The forward angle and bent posture make the soldier look ready to react as he moves.
A three-quarter view shows the relationship between the hands, rifle and equipment. A head-on view alone can shorten the weapon’s apparent length and hide part of the pose.
Build movement through spacing
A crouching rifleman nearby can make this figure seem to be moving past a brief pause in the line. A Bren gunner farther back supplies a different height and weapon shape.
Those relationships create a readable display without requiring every soldier to share the same stride or face the same exact point.
Introduced in June 2026, DD411 is a useful connecting figure within the collection. The advancing pose lets it sit between the more stationary support roles and the stronger movement of the running rifleman.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD411 product record lists a release date of June 2026. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
