King & Country DD386 Kneeling Tech 5 with Map: A Small Planning Scene at Track Level

Ground or vehicle?

The release suggests placing the figure on the ground or on parts of a Sherman. The best choice depends on whether the model can support the pose securely and leave the map visible.

On the ground, a standing sergeant can look down toward him. On a vehicle, the kneeling pose can break up the broad upper surface without adding another upright silhouette.

Give the viewer the same line of sight

An elevated angle is useful because it lets the reader see what the figure is attending to. At a very low angle, the map can disappear behind the hands and knees.

The individual figure can anchor a small discussion group, but the surrounding crewmen and tank remain separately supplied subjects.

DD386 contributes a specific task to the collection. It is a reminder that an armored display can be about deciding where to go next, with the map providing a quiet center around which the other figures can gather.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived DD386 product record lists a release date of June 2024. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
