The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS366
The curved magazine and compact weapon distinguish WS366 from the nearby riflemen. He kneels with the MP44 shouldered, elbows bent and gaze aligned along the weapon.

Keep the weapon name specific
The manufacturer identifies an MP44 assault rifle. It should not be relabeled as an MP40 merely because both names begin with the same letters.
The visible magazine, receiver and stock make a useful comparison with WS367’s different submachine-gun subject. Those are equipment differences, not simply alternate poses for one weapon.
The kneeling position concentrates the detail
The patterned jacket sits above plain gray trousers. Belt equipment and a light-colored side pouch add bulk around the hips, while the plain helmet gives the head a clean outline.
One knee rests low as the forward leg supports the body. A side-quarter image shows the magazine and hands more clearly than a direct view into the muzzle.
A later-war infantry subject
King & Country places the figure in its Normandy HJSS grouping. The release is an anonymous NCO interpretation, rather than a portrait with a verified personal history.
The Deutsches Historisches Museum’s Waffen-SS overview connects the formation’s combat presence with Nazi political aims and systematic violence.
WS366 contains the single kneeling figure and his scenic base. Additional riflemen, an ammunition carrier or a defensive position would be separate releases.
Its place in the catalog is the specific combination of assault rifle, kneeling firing pose and mixed clothing. The weapon profile is the first detail to check when a seller groups several late-war German figures under a generic infantry heading.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS366 product record lists a release date of November 2022. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
