The Operation ToyBox catalog · DD358
DD358 lies prone behind a scoped rifle, with his legs spread and the weapon aimed close to ground level. The lack of a scenic base lets the British sniper blend directly into a chosen surface.

The sight is the key difference
The manufacturer identifies a No. 4 rifle fitted with a No. 32 telescopic sight. The National Army Museum’s 1944 No. 4 Mk I(T) record provides a surviving example of the .303 sniper-rifle type.
The scope should therefore remain visible in a reference photograph. Without it, the figure could easily be mistaken for another ordinary prone rifleman.
The body supports the long line
The elbows sit beneath the upper body while the rifle projects forward. The spread legs and pack create a broader rear shape, balancing the narrow weapon line.
A side-quarter view shows the sight, hands and supporting posture together. Viewed only from behind, the defining equipment can disappear behind the helmet.
Different from the crawling figure
DD343 holds his rifle across the ground while moving. DD358 settles behind a scoped weapon pointing forward. The low height is shared, but the task and equipment differ.
No spotter or extra scenic item is listed with DD358. Any companion in a larger display is a separate addition.
The sniper earns his catalog entry through that combination of specialized rifle and base-free prone pose. He is an anonymous interpretation; the product record does not supply a named marksman, individual record or particular engagement.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived DD358 product record lists a release date of November 2021. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
