The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS202
The ammunition carrier in WS202 has his rifle slung across the body and another load hanging from his hand. The figure makes support work visible through carried equipment rather than through a firing pose.

The gun is only part of a team’s burden
King & Country explains the release as a soldier carrying additional ammunition for the machine gun. That gives him a distinct role beside WS201’s marching gunner.
The pair is useful because the equipment is distributed between people. A display centered only on the gunner can make the weapon seem self-contained; the ammunition carrier brings another person’s work into the picture.
The rifle remains with him
The slung rifle crosses the front while the ammunition container creates a lower, more compact shape beside the leg. The helmet, web equipment and boots keep the figure visually consistent with the surrounding infantry.
The different loads should remain visible from the chosen viewing angle. A neighboring figure placed too close can hide the box and leave the carrier looking like an ordinary rifleman.
Keep the task specific without inventing a unit
The product record gives no personal name or particular section. The ammunition-carrying role is the supported historical subject; an exact weapon allocation or a named campaign would need additional evidence.
He can work beside the marching gunner or near a resting group where equipment is being moved. The same figure introduces a practical activity in either arrangement.
WS202 earns its place through that small but important distinction. The model is not simply another infantry pose with a different hand position: the additional load explains why he belongs alongside a crew-served weapon.
When comparing a loose example, look for the full rifle, the carried container and the hand connection. Those details identify both the miniature and the support job it represents.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS202 product record lists a release date of September 2012 and a retirement date of January 2016. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
