King & Country DD007B US Military Policeman: An Early DD Figure with a Job Beyond the Front Line

Keeping an army moving

The U.S. Army’s Military Police lineage history includes traffic control, protection of property and prisoner-of-war responsibilities among the branch’s wartime duties. The MP subject therefore opens a wider story than a man standing beside a road.

The miniature is not identified as a named serviceman or member of a particular company. Its helmet marking and uniform establish the represented role without supplying a personal biography.

A reference image with useful limits

The saved photograph shows the figure outdoors with a green King & Country box behind him. The box gives useful collecting context, but that photograph alone cannot establish which packaging a particular secondhand seller will supply.

The raised hand, helmet lettering, belt equipment and base are the details to compare closely. Strong sunlight in a reference photograph can also change how the uniform colour appears.

Why an individual support figure deserves an entry

Beside a truck, the MP provides human scale and a clear point of attention. On his own, he represents the administrative and movement-control side of the DD collection’s military history.

Keeping the suffix attached to this figure helps older releases remain findable without multiplying alternate spellings into fictitious catalog numbers.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived DD007B product record identifies this release but leaves its release and retirement dates blank. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
