King & Country WH102 For You Fritz, the War Is Over: A Prisoner in a Different Walking Pose

Two prisoners do not need matching poses

Putting the two entries side by side makes the variation clear. WH101 communicates surrender through raised hands; WH102 relies more on the title and its relationship with the wider prisoner group.

That contrast can make a small display feel less like a repeated figure line.

The limits of the miniature’s story

The WH historical overview places captivity within the army’s wartime context. The product record does not identify where this anonymous man was captured or what happened to him afterward.

A collector can arrange a representative scene while leaving those unverified details out of the label.

Why this simple walking figure deserves an entry

Once separated from its box, a prisoner with lowered hands can be harder to identify than a dramatic surrender pose. The cap, clothing and position of the arms therefore matter.

WH102 preserves a particular subject within the range: a soldier whose situation has changed from combatant to captive. Keep the code with a full-body reference photograph so that context does not disappear when the figure is stored or sold with other walking infantry.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WH102 product record lists a release date of January 2022. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
