King & Country DD063 DUKW Amphibious Vehicle: The Truck That Crossed the Shoreline

What comes with the model

The archived listing describes a polystone-and-metal vehicle, two full-body GIs and a removable load of fuel drums and jerrycans. It gives the model’s length as more than thirteen inches.

The saved reference photograph shows the long vehicle with its cargo placed nearby. Those supplies remain part of the release even when they are displayed outside the compartment.

Plan for the full length

A diagonal placement can show the compartment and wheels together. A head-on view hides much of the body, while a crowded shelf may conceal the distinctive boat-like shape.

The removable cargo offers another display choice, but keep it identified with the vehicle if the collection is rearranged.

More than a large accessory

DD063 opens a transport story that ordinary trucks cannot show. It gives the catalog an amphibious subject with a clear cargo role and a specific figure-and-load complement.

When checking a used example, compare both GIs, the removable supplies and the vehicle fittings with the reference image, not just the large hull.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived DD063 product record lists a release date of July 2005 and a retirement date of October 2007. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
