The Operation ToyBox catalog · WH030
WH030 contains three steel-style beach obstacles, commonly called Czech hedgehogs. Their crossing beams create an instantly recognizable shoreline silhouette even though the release contains no figures.

Three pieces, many viewing angles
The original listing specifies three obstacles. The saved reference photograph shows their dark, weathered surfaces and the way each structure projects in several directions.
That makes the full count worth checking. A single obstacle in a mixed scenic lot may be useful, but it is only part of the three-piece release recorded here.
The tide was part of the problem
Beach obstacles created hazards for the invasion force as water levels changed. The British Ministry of Defence’s D-Day account describes the clearance teams and beach organization needed during the assault.
The historical interest is therefore larger than the shape alone. The obstacles help explain why getting vehicles and troops ashore involved more than reaching a stretch of sand.
Scenery can explain scale
Beside a figure or landing scene, the crossing beams become a physical interruption in the open ground. A little separation between the three pieces lets the viewer understand their individual shapes.
They can also stand in a compact scenic group, but avoid stacking other accessories around every beam. The strong outline is the release’s main visual contribution.
Keep construction work and assault scenes distinct
The WH engineer figures provide one possible context, while a D-Day landing display provides another. Those are alternative interpretations, not a claim that one generic arrangement reconstructs every beach.
WH030 deserves its own catalog record because scenic pieces can otherwise lose their original count and identity. When comparing used examples, inspect the complete beam shapes and their meeting points. A clear photo from more than one angle is especially useful for a structure that overlaps itself so heavily.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WH030 product record lists June 2015 as the release date. Those are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
