The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS332

The sloped hull and turret say T-34; the large German crosses tell a different service story. WS332 represents a captured Soviet tank adapted and marked for German use, with a commander visible in the open hatch.

Recognition becomes part of the design

The manufacturer emphasizes the conspicuous German markings as an attempt to identify a captured vehicle to friendly forces. On the miniature, the crosses stand out against the camouflage and the red-outlined turret number.

German-style side skirts further change the familiar T-34 silhouette. Together, the finish and additions make this more than a standard Soviet tank with a small insignia substituted.

Two origins remain visible

The underlying vehicle identity and the represented operator belong in the catalog together. Russian and German search categories are both useful here: one describes the equipment’s origin, the other the model’s depicted service.

The product narrative does not establish a named crew or a particular photographed action for this example. The painted number should therefore be treated as a model marking rather than a complete service history.

A comparison worth making

Beside a conventional T-34 model, WS332 invites a close look at the side plates, insignia and commander presentation. The basic vehicle can remain recognizable even when its outward appearance has changed substantially.

An angled photograph shows the skirts and turret markings together. A straight frontal view would hide much of what distinguishes this release.

WS332 belongs in the collection as a captured-equipment subject. The included hatch commander, camouflage and German additions should be checked as a combination when evaluating an example, rather than relying on a broad listing title such as “German T-34.”

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS332 product record lists a release date of June 2017. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
