WS314 is a cylindrical concrete tower with a pointed top and small openings. Its narrow footprint makes it a distinctive scenic accessory beside the broader bunker entrance.
A useful correction to the product description
The original description calls the tower a source of fresh air. Berliner Unterwelten’s research identifies the cone-topped structure as an exhaust-air tower and distinguishes it from the separate ventilation construction. It also notes that later accounts have wrongly described it as an observation or defensive tower.
That distinction changes how the model is understood. The openings and conical shape should not automatically be interpreted as a miniature gun position.
The surface provides the detail
The gray concrete finish carries marks and discoloration around the cylinder. The pointed roof changes the outline without requiring a large building footprint.
A side-quarter view keeps the openings visible while showing the circular body. Those features are the practical identifying details when comparing a loose scenic piece.
Part of a larger site, a separate release
WS313 and WS320 represent entrance structures, while WS314 adds this different above-ground element. None is a complete model of the underground bunker complex.
Figures placed around the tower are separately cataloged items. The release is the tower itself, as shown in the saved reference photograph.
WS314 earns a place in the catalog because infrastructure can be as historically specific as a uniform or vehicle. Retaining the corrected exhaust function makes the scenic accessory more informative than a generic label for a Berlin bunker tower.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS314 product record lists a release date of May 2015 and a retirement date of June 2020. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
