The Operation ToyBox catalog · WS276
WS276 is a three-person evacuation group: two standing bearers carry a wounded man on a stretcher. The horizontal patient connects figures at either end, making the set’s structure immediately clear.
The bearers have different appearances
The front medical figure wears a white helmet with a red cross and a matching medical armband. The other bearer wears a soft cap and ordinary field clothing.
The product description identifies a medic assisted by another Wehrmacht soldier. The contrast between them makes the assistance visible rather than presenting two identical medical figures.
The stretcher changes the composition
The wounded man lies between the bearers, with his head and body facing upward. The long frame means the set needs more shelf width than three separate standing figures.
Leave both ends visible so the viewer can see how the load is supported. Crowding another figure directly in front can hide the central relationship.
Connect evacuation with treatment
An ambulance driver or hospital bed can extend the story into transport and care. Those are separate releases, and the set does not identify a particular vehicle, hospital or named casualty.
The patient’s eventual outcome is not established by the sculpt. Its subject is the act of carrying him, with two men sharing the task.
WS276 earns its catalog entry through that complete interaction. Check the two different bearers, patient and stretcher together when comparing an unboxed set; the missing presence of any one component changes the scene substantially.
Release record and collecting notes
Sager’s archived WS276 product record lists a release date of March 2014 and a retirement date of November 2020. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
