King & Country WS266 The Chest Wound: A Patient Beneath the Blue Blanket

The wound is the subject, not a complete diagnosis

The manufacturer identifies the scene as a chest wound. That title should be retained, but the miniature does not establish treatment details, recovery time or the patient’s eventual outcome.

The relaxed position in bed is a sculpted moment. It cannot tell us how much pain the man experiences or what he thinks about returning to service.

Compare an occupied and an empty bed

WS269 provides an empty cot with similar bedding. Placed nearby, it can give a small hospital arrangement a sense of capacity and space without requiring every bed to contain a figure.

The doctor WS261 and nursing subjects are separate releases. They can expand the scene, but they are not included with WS266.

This set belongs in the catalog as the specific patient-and-bed composition. For a loose example, compare the upper-body bandaging, blanket, pillows and cot together. An unoccupied bed or a differently posed patient is a related hospital subject rather than this exact release.

Release record and collecting notes

Sager’s archived WS266 product record lists a release date of February 2014 and a retirement date of June 2016. These are catalog dates, rather than a statement about today’s secondhand availability. Compare the seller’s actual photographs with the reference image here, including any projecting equipment and the base; a familiar box title alone is not a condition report.
